Who I am

This site is run by Yusuf Sheikh through Platinum Reach Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company no. 17393326, registered office 58 Peregrine Road, Hainault, Ilford, Essex, IG6 3SZ). Platinum Reach Ltd is responsible for the personal data collected here. Contact: contact@yusufsheikh.com.

What I collect and why

Free downloads: your first name and email address, so I can send you what you asked for and follow up with emails about building a brand as a property operator. I only do this because you signed up (your consent).
Applications: the details you give in the application form, so I can decide whether working together is a fit and get back to you.
Payments: if you pay for a session, payment is handled by the payment provider. I never see or store your card details.
Basic site logs: the hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

I don't sell your data, and I don't use advertising cookies on this site.

Who handles it for me

I use trusted providers to run things. They only use your data to provide their service to me:

Kit: email sign-ups and emails
Typeform: application forms
Stripe: payments
Netlify: website hosting
YouTube: embedded videos (YouTube may set its own cookies if you play a video)
Vimeo: embedded videos (Vimeo may set its own cookies if you play a video)

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, such as in the US. Where that happens, your data is protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as approved contract terms.

How long I keep it

Email sign-ups stay on my list until you unsubscribe. Application details are kept for up to 2 years, or longer if we end up working together and I need them for business or legal records.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data I hold on you, correct it, delete it, or stop me using it. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. To do any of this, email contact@yusufsheikh.com.

If you're not happy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
